Support Groups

Women’s Support Groups

-Survivors Toward Recovery Group – our newcomer’s group: runs in cycles of 8 weeks; for building coping skills prior to trauma processing.

-Adult Women Molested as Children: runs in cycles of 15 weeks; this group is a trauma processing group for adults who have experienced sexual trauma as a child.

-Adult Rape/SA Support Group: runs in cycles of 12 weeks; this group is a trauma processing group for adults who have experiences sexual trauma as an adult.

-Sexual Wholeness Group: runs in cycles of 12 weeks; this group is designed for survivors who have completed a processing group and would like to work on reclaiming their intimacy and sexuality.

-Creative Healing Series: runs in cycles of 6-8 weeks; this group focuses on using art and writing skills to assist with processing the trauma through creative means.

-Emotions and Assertiveness Bootcamps: each bootcamp runs in cycles of 10 weeks; these groups are to assist survivors who struggle with emotions and assertiveness with an active practice component.

-Café y Concersacion: support services for Spanish-Speaking Survivors through monthly group sessions that promote safe coping skills and support.

 

Men’s Support Groups

-Men’s Survivors Toward Recovery Group: runs in cycles of 8 weeks; for building copings skills prior to trauma processing.

-Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse/Assault: runs in cycles of 12 weeks; this group is a trauma processing group for adult men who have experienced sexual trauma as either a child or adult.

What is a closed group?

A closed group means that the sessions are not open for new members on a weekly basis. Each group once started, closes to new participants. Weekly attendance is strongly encouraged. All of the group support services are confidential and provided at no cost to a client.
